YOUR SCOUT GROUP NEEDS YOU !
Scouting has played an active part in the community of Trentham since 1941,
providing fun, interest and entertainment. This could not have been done without
the Leaders and Executive Committee - all of which are volunteers.
What does becoming a volunteer helper entail? This varies between sections but the following is a general guide: Time wise -
around 2 hours a week plus occasional planning meetings,
an occasional sleepover or camp and visits to places of interest. The training scheme has just been re-vamped and most training is done at local level by people you know.
You will not be thrown in at the deep end until you feel competent enough.
The executive committee meets every 3 months and provides help to run the business side of the group. New members with fresh ideas are always welcomed
and needed.
The Group future is in your hands. Contact
us for further information in becoming a helper, leader or Committee
member
