2006 Sleepover
As the Beavers arrived they were greeted with a
hall decorated with Halloween pictures and ornaments and all the leaders in
Fancy Dress. The weekend was packed with fantastic events and games. Activities
such as creating witches hats, capes, wands and broomsticks, badge making,
making bonfire cakes, colouring, magic pictures, singing, games, and even a
Quidditch tournament! A superb cooking team provided some interesting meals,
including eyeball jelly, and dessert covered with either dark blue or red
custard! The beavers enjoyed watching
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone before sleeping in the hall.
Everyone had a great time and made lots of new friends, just what being a Beaver
is all about."
