Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders all attended
a weekend long camp in the grounds of the Scout Building.
The camp began immediately following the fun
and activities of the Open Day. Activities were based on the Centenary including traditional Scouting skills learnt 100
years ago. A variety of events were run to
suit all ages from the youngest Beaver to the eldest Scout.
All those attending were presented with a
commemorative souvenir t-shirt bearing the specially designed logo (see
right). |

On Saturday 26th May we held our Open Day
which was a free event open to everyone - Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, families, friends, local
residents, old members, previous leaders and local groups and clubs. Doors
opened at 12noon with the opening ceremony being performed by The Lord Mayor.
