How Far will your T-Shirt Travel?

Our next Centenary activity may be easy to work out from the title ! All Beavers. Cubs, Scouts, Leaders and helpers were given a special t-shirt to celebrate the centenary (see below picture). We are running a competition to take photos of the t-shirts in as many different places around the world as possible. This idea came from a Cub who took his t-shirt on holiday to Turkey and brought in a photo of him wearing it. Click the below map to see where they've been !

To enable the whole group to celebrate the Centenary and to open the premises for wider community use we held a weekend long event.
Centenary Camp
26th - 27th May

26th to 27th May 2007

Fun Open Day
26th May 12noon
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders all attended a weekend long camp in the grounds of the Scout Building.

The camp began immediately following the fun and activities of the Open Day.

Activities were based on the Centenary including traditional Scouting skills learnt 100 years ago.

A variety of events were run to suit all ages from the youngest Beaver to the eldest Scout.

All those attending were presented with a commemorative souvenir t-shirt bearing the specially designed logo (see right).
