The Scouts in Trentham, New Zealand, collected together photos, leaflets, newspapers, magazines and Scouting items which they thought were
specific to our local area. These were sent to us and used for our New Zealand night. We have now put everything on display at the Scout House.
Our Scouts were asked to bring in similar photos, leaflets, newspapers, magazines and letters which they thought were specific to Trentham,
England and the surrounding area of Stoke on Trent.
All the information collected was sent to Heretaunga group where they will hold activities based on an England theme.
We held a New Zealand night which included making Hokey Pokeys, learning about the cultures of New Zealand and a quiz. The opening ceremony was
performed as done in NZ and the first game was chair football (a favourite in NZ)
